On the 4th of June there are two elections. One for about 27 county councils, in which I’m taking part by standing for Wisbech South in Cambs county council and also the European elections.

Michael Martin, the speaker of the house of commons has resigned and he will be stepping down shortly.
This is excellent news, he is not only just as guilty as any of the other MPs with the gravy train expenses claims, but also has done immense damage to the office of speaker.
