Barak Obama, Americas first half cast president is going to spend 1 trillion dollars of american taxpayers money.
But how much is 1 trillion dollars, its just such a large number it becomes difficult to visualise.
Serves them right for voting for him.

What a moron you are – not racist perchance, are you?? And just in case you need some enlightening, Obama has only been the president for a very short while – so therefore the debt was not his, but rather his predecessor’s!! And what of Gordon’s debt?? The ONLY person he can blame is himself!! Get a grip and use your head for something other than a HAT RACK!
Why do you call me a moron? After all. everything I’ve said is clearly factually accuarate. Nor am I racist either, you cannot counter any of my arguement so you have to resort to name calling.
Obama stood on a manifesto pledge of borrowing an aditional 1 trillion dollars, the voters knew this before they had the chance to cast their votes so you can’t blame Bush for that.
Yes, Gordon Brown debt is equally stupid, but that’s not just his fault, he is supported in this folly by the entire labour cabinet and all labour MP’s as well as most labour party members.
I’ve already got a grip and use my head for thinking, I suggest you try and do likewise.
Yes, Obamba is calling this bail out a stimulus … but why do you think it is needed? Certainly not because it is debt incurred whilst HE has been in office… but rather, that of a warmonger, liar and thief!
And Gordan, if you recall, was Chancellor before he was NOT voted into the role he now is failing at!
Always easiest to blame the one currently holding the title.
So, my previous comment stands… really, do try and think with the larger of your two heads..
Several points
1. The “stimulus” is not needed, tax cuts are.
2. This is more borrowing in addition to the debt already incurred by Bush
Obama made no secret of the fact that he believes in a big state, taxing people heavily and being presciptive over what they can do.
Game, set and match to me.
Tax cuts, yeah? Exactly who are getting the cuts, the rich? Because you certainly cannot cut taxes from the UNEMPLOYED, can you? Or am I missing something here?
Tell you what, why dont you run for the presidency or prime minister and see just how far your TAX CUTS lead you? Tax cuts are for the rich, who certainly dont need them with all the loopholes provided to them to curtail paying a fair portion of their “booty” as it were…
The stimulus is for keeping businesses afloat so the poor sod paying the taxes can continue to do so by remaining employed, at their own demise, because we ALL know that tax cuts/breaks are only for those who can afford to pay taxes without dipping into the grocery money!!
I hate snobbish, well off, TAX EVADERS, in any form they take!
If you actually took the time to read this blog you would find out that not only am I running for public office but the Libertarian Party want to abolish Income Tax for everyone.
By cutting all the unnecessary things that the gov’t does, Income Tax can be totally abolished and the govt would still have enough funds from other taxation to fully fund the NHS, pensions, education to 18, police, armed forces etc.
With more money in their pockets, ordinary people would provide a “proper” stimulus to business which in turn would boost employment figures and wages.
Wealth is only created by economic activity and ordinary people when released from the bonds of high taxation being able to spend their own money creates the most economic activity.
I suggest that you try and find out exactly how Obamas so called stimulus will be spent because a lot of it will simply be wasted yet Americans will take years to pay it off through higher tax burdens.
In the end individuals respond to incentives. You may not know this, being an American but several years ago the NHS gave doctors a massive pay rise. I know personally two examples of where the doctors got so much from the taxpayer that they decided to work parttime. The end result is that it costs the taxpayer more pounds for less work done.
Finally, I will mention the one good thing about democracy. The voters get what they deserve. Obama was quite clear about his stupidity during the election campaign yet Americans still voted for him. The voters deserve to suffer and suffer they shall.
I have read much of your pages… quite a bit of info there! And I have to admit, some very promising ideas indeed!
I must tell you that I have been living in England for 9 years now, so I am aware of the waste happening within the NHS, and in fact, I worked there for a brief period – quitting when the office politics and poor management caused me enormous amounts of grief! I am not work shy, but it would appear that many within the “ranks” are – passing the proverbial buck as it were. Moreso, it would seem that their motto is “A pound of cure cant beat an ounce of prevention ~ but who cares??” I was astounded to read just yesterday that England is lagging far, far behind in the war on Aids issue ~ and it cited that England’s “Mi Casa Su Casa” mentality is mostly to blame for this. Here, I think that education from an EARLY age is desperately needed!!!
I note that you wish to withdraw from the EU ~ fantastic! What a complete waste of 4million a day!! Corruption in the Houses of Parliament is bad enough to stomach, but the corruption happening in Brussels defies logic as to why ANYONE (other than those sucking it for all it’s worth) would want to remain a member!
I find it a joke that England even bothers having a Judicial System full stop when anyone who has a grievance as to the outcome, particularly of any civil case, simply files a “Human Rights” claim at the EU Court ~ who, in turn, will determine that the Justices in this country were in the wrong… I have to wonder if this is the case, JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN!! So I am all for withdraw from this money sucking machine consisting of cogs made from corrupt politicians!
As for Obama ~ as an American, I have to say BRAVO of their “coming of age”. You have to realise that America is full of bigots, good ‘ol boys and, let’s not forget, the KKK. I think that to the younger generation now of the “voting” age, the things he was saying appealed to them. You must bear in mind that these are folks who were raised on the SPEND NOW, SPEND LATER and worry about the consequences another time mentality! From where I was observing the presidential race, the opposition was even more abysmal than Obama! You also need to bear in mind that Americans, the majority anyway, were sick of the Republicans two-faced economics. Sick of Dubya throwing hissy fits and rigging votes ~ just sick of it all.
Yes SIR, I am proud of the fact that I am an American, and completely embarrassed by the way Dubya ran things whilst he was in office. We all know that he is a money hungry warmonger and I tell you, I have had to put up with so much BUNK in this country as a result of his policies, that it even went as far as me being sacked from my job ~ which, by the way I won a unfair dismissal due to discrimination case as a result.
I noticed that the BBC Breakfast program interviewed UKIP this morning and are having Clegg on Monday. Are you guys going to be given air time as well? My husband and I have heard so little of your party ~ but again, it would appear “y’all” have some good ideas rattlin’ round ~ PLEASE, stand up and be noticed in a more public forum!!
